About the Course & Book
Did you know that anyone can fill out a form, pay $25 to the county’s Clerk, and file a Materialman’s Lien against your property? To file the lien, they don’t have to sue you, prove their case, or anything else.
Once the lien is filed, it can tie up your property and limit your ability to sell it, borrow against it (e.g. a HELOC), or refinance an existing loan.
Georgia Attorney Jim Fletcher has created a step-by-step course, with supporting book and forms, to teach you how to dispute a Materialman’s Lien, and how these liens can be cancelled.
He teaches how to file a “Notice of Contest”, properly serve it, and properly file it.
He also teaches about filing Quiet Title lawsuits to have the Court cancel these liens when necessary.
